Job Description

The Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting the planning, execution, and completion of fire and security system installations for Group One Safety & Security. This role assists with ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Additionally, they will handle purchasing duties, ensuring that all materials and equipment required for installations are procured efficiently and cost-effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all aspects of fire and security system installations, from assisting with initial site assessment to installation completion.
  • Develop detailed installation schedules, assign tasks, and ensure timely execution of installation milestones.
  • Communicate regularly with clients, project managers, and installation teams to provide updates and address any issues.
  • Ensure that all installations meet the quality standards set by Group One Safety & Security.
  • Place orders, track deliveries, and manage inventory to ensure that all necessary materials are available for installations.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, inventory levels, and supplier performance.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality or safety.
  • Maintain detailed records of installation plans, schedules, and progress reports.
  • Document installation procedures, challenges, and resolutions for future reference.
  • Prepare comprehensive installation completion reports and client handover documentation.
  • Work closely with the installation team to ensure seamless installation execution.
  • Provide support and guidance to installation technicians and subcontractors.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project coordination, preferably in the fire protection or construction industry.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with clients, team members, and suppliers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and service management software.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel occasionally as needed.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or possess documentation authorizing legal employment in the United States.
